Meet Julie

Hello! I am a word-lover with over 30 years of experience in writing and editing.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have adored books. Library visits were the highlight of my week, especially during summer reading contests.
I even established my own bedroom library, with homemade card pockets (see photo above) and date stamper. Family members were encouraged to visit frequently!
I got my first tattoo (why yes, it's a book!) in the summer of 2017. And I published my first book, Virtually Kissing Frogs: How to Stay Afloat in the Online Dating Pond, in December of that same year.
My passion is copy-editing nonfiction manuscripts, specifically in the genres of business, personal and professional development, and self-help.
As Managing Editor at Thanet House Books, I became thoroughly acquainted with all aspects of the writing, editing, and publishing processes.
This knowledge makes me uniquely qualified to support my clients with a plethora of resources and tips, along with a realistic plan and timeline to ensure each book is introduced to the world just as it's meant to be.
